Firearms and Tactics Training

Introduction

The Reference and Training Guides for Law Enforcement Training Officers, Firearms and Tactics and The Advanced Patrol Tactics and Basic S.W.A.T., are modular approaches to firearms training.  These guides are intended for use by qualified and competent, Law Enforcement Training Officers as an adjunct to their training criteria for the cadet through patrol officer.  Each module is a separate and complete training program that can be used as is, or modified to your department's needs.  

These  training guides come in hard copy and on CD-ROM.  Firearms and Tactics has sixteen separate training modules which contain over 900 slides and 350 pages that include 11 video presentations.  The Advanced Patrol Tactics and Basic S.W.A.T. has 11 modules, 14 video presentations and 20 animated GIF files to help demonstrate officer and Team movements.  

In these Reference and Training guides, we have taken a holistic approach and have attempted to include most situations where the firearm may be used.  Additionally, we have attempted to bridge the gap between patrol and the basic S.W.A.T. training allowing the patrol officer to have more tools for their survival.  The dynamic training modules can easily be broken down to fit most training schedules.  Each module can be presented using the CD and Microsoft PowerPoint.  Handouts, outlines, transparencies and slides can be printed from the CD and used in training and the modules can be presented in a projected format through PowerPoint.
